It is officially 2019! Can you believe it? I am so excited for this upcoming new year. I have been working very hard on figuring out my goals, plans and dreams for 2019 and I have come up with a few destinations that I think you will all like.
In the New Year, Bold Destinations will be traveling half the year in Southeast Asia and the other half in Latin America. Starting in January, I am flying into Bangkok, Thailand before making my way to Phuket. Phuket is in the southern part of Thailand and attracts thousands of tourists from around the world each year. I have plans to become scuba certified, spend some time looking for shells on the beach and of course write amazing articles for you all.
After Thailand I am headed to Malaysia. I have set up three workaway experiences for Malaysia to help cover some costs. If you don’t know what I mean when I say workaway boy are you in for a treat. Workaway is an awesome program that connects hosts with travelers. A host advertises a certain job that they need help with and travelers can message them about fulfilling their needs. In exchange for some hours of work, the host gives the traveler free housing. It is a fabulous way to save money while traveling the world.
After Malaysia my plan is to head to Indonesia, more specifically Bali. Then I will fly to Cambodia followed by Vietnam before flying back to the other side of the world for the next half of the year in Latin America.
It should be a great 2019. Of course my plans could and will shift and change as I go along but for now that is my outline for the first half. Wish me luck!
